Many years ago my brothers would talk and talk and talk about making a dark beer that was smooth and light but it never happened, until now. Try this light, smooth and malty beer with a little taste of “chocolate” that was well overdue. Here’s to Kevin and Philip dream beer.

Dark Wheat is a great match for traditional German foods, especially the pork dishes. Salty roasted pork or pork sausages plays off the sweetness of the beer. Dark Hefeweizen with more noticeable clove flavors are a perfect complement to ham. The beer works well with roasted chicken too. And while many beers aren’t great for desert, Dark Wheat can be, especially with banana cream pie or banana pudding!
